  • Amanda Doyle

Amanda is a Chicago-based yoga teacher blending flow and restorative practices to help fellow busy professionals and everyday athletes reconnect with their bodies and promote balanced recovery. Amanda creates classes that balance strength, movement, and mobility while offering space to slow down and reset. She works in finance, and when she’s not at work or on the mat, you can find her running along the lakefront, reading at a coffee shop, or soaking up the city with friends.

Her classes are grounding, playful, and energetic, weaving together mindful movement, modern music, and spiritual elements to create a practice that feels both challenging and restorative. Students can expect to leave feeling stronger, more open, and deeply recharged.

Amanda completed her RYT-200 training at Sonic Yoga in New York City in 2018. She has previously taught at CorePower Yoga in Chicago and is currently the yoga teacher on staff at Three Avenues Bookstore on Lincoln Avenue. She is excited to share her practice and help build community through movement in her classes.

  • Gretchen Soechting-McGuire

Gretchen is a movement enthusiast with a BFA in Dance and a long-held appreciation for cross-training disciplines. She received her Pilates training and apprenticeship under Steven Winterstein of Kinetic Axis and gained NCPT (formerly Pilates Method Alliance) certification in 2018. While continuing to teach, she embarked on a career transition as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to grow and utilize years of somatic work and help folks get back to their best. After two years of clinical practice in outpatient physical therapy, she returned full time to her love of teaching at LightSpace Pilates and Wellness.

Gretchen's instruction is informed by her experience as a dancer and mover, knowledge of therapeutic application on a range of conditions and populations, and a deepened appreciation for the immense capacity the body holds through every season of life. She believes motion is lotion, our bodies are capable of incredible feats, and everyone benefits from education and encouragement to facilitate mindfulness in motion.

Kaitlyn is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, UESCA Run & Ultra Coach, and GGS Certified Pre/Postnatal Coach. A lifelong athlete, Kaitlyn discovered running in adolescence and completed two marathons by college graduation.
